Mick Cole Motorcycles opened for business in 1986 with partners Bob Taylor
and Mick Cole. Both qualified mechanics, they built the business on the
reputation of quality engine work, servicing and rebuilds and horsepower
mods.
Bob Taylor was a mechanic in many successful race teams, one of note was the
Kawasaki Superbike that Andrew Johnson raced against Mick Cole, Rob Phillis
& Dennis Neill.
Mick was the founding Honda Race Team rider riding the world debut on the
Honda CBX1000 6 cylinder to its maiden production bike win. Mick also won
the Suzuka 8 hour in Japan riding with Tony Hatton on the Honda HRC Factory
Team.
His racing career lasted 10 years having also competed in France & Britain.
Mick Cole Motorcycles have sponsored many up and coming riders and teams
over the years and are proud to be sponsoring the TWP Race Team for 2006
(comprising 5 riders Dean Smith, Andrew & Luke Donnelly and Jake & Scott
Mead). Also single sponsorships for Mitchell Collins and Alex Cochrane. We
have always believed in giving financial assistance and sponsorships to
encourage our young motorcyclists at the grass roots level. Best of Luck

Since their arrival in July 2004, Phil and Tracey Gorman have rapidly turned
Bega’s Grand Hotel in to the town’s premier live entertainment venue.
With local, national or on occasions international bands playing, along with regular pool and darts competitions,
top quality Chinese and Australian meals in the Asian Pearl Restaurant, 17 fully self contained rooms,
a daily ‘happy hour’, raffles on Thursday and Friday nights and Fox Sports the Grand caters for all tastes and budgets.
Underway is a beer garden also at the rear of the hotel.
The Gormans have developed a reputation for their generosity in supporting a vast number of sporting and community groups,
including Sapphire Coast Ulysses.
The pub also has a team in the local darts comp and has recently formed a fishing club. Giavano’s Pizzas are also available.
